Ultimate Home Office for Less that $100

In Boston, it can get quite humid in the summer time, not Washington or Florida humid, but nonetheless…. Coupled with the fact that I live in the top floor of a brick building that heats up to incredible temperatures (its 90 in here right now).
I had to move my office up to the roof deck:
In case you don’t see the specific details and want it priced out:
1) $19.95 for kiddie swimming pool at local hardware store.
2) Smuttynose Summer Ale, $8 for 6.
3) Blackberry, no cost counted since it’s in my pocket regardless of office location.
4) A green laptop table, $49, courtesy of Target.
5) Sunglasses that someone left here at the last BBQ: Free. (Sorry Frank, had to borrow them.)
Total cost, $78 + roof deck.
Ok, back to some real work.

haha! N1ce!!
I lov your laptop table. but whooooot?! $49 ?
Sounds really expensive. But he looks like a designer table, is he?
And of the other side he reminds me like an ikea produkt? you know Ikea?
You can be happy that you possesses a balcony.
I have to go outside e.g in the park, cuz in summer i have the underbelly of sunlight.
I will keep your mini pool-bar in my mind and assemble it in summer :-)
btw: Is this beer for $8 a six-pack?
$8 is also expensive, we pay 3,59 € ;)

The beer was about $8 for a six-pack. While we can get cheap beer here in America, I hold my libations to a higher level and prefer something a little richer than Budweiser or Miller Lite. This is a micro-brew, so in theory, it’s made by a smaller company in small batches with superior ingredients.
The thing I’m using as a table is really a stool designed by a former RISD student (famous design school here in the U.S., with alumni of like Seth Macfarlane (TV show called The Family Guy). They has a RISD store, where I found the stool. http://www.risd.edu/. I agree, it does look like something found at Ikea.

You should get something to lay in a pool with like a table or something. That would be great and you would have enough space to keep the beer cold. :)
